Dino Riders Fan Club Pterodactyl and Adult Llahd

I was going to cut back on Dino Riders content here on Doom Kick as we begin work on the Dino Riders companion book but in the end I decided that would be taking alot of fun out of it and Doom Kick is all about fun for me. Today I brought out something extra special, two Dino Riders variants that are a little hard to come by and may not be known to all Dino Riders fans; the Fan Club mail-away pterodactyl and the Blue Snaggletooth of the Dino Riders Universe, Adult Llahd.

The Fan Club Pterodactyl used the exact same mold as the retail version but had a wildly different paint job. The new orange and dark brown colors really look great.

There was no armor included with the Fan Club Pterodactyl but it uses the exact same mold as the retail version so it can use the same harness as well. It’s truly a striking improvement over the original.

Another variant in Dino Riders that isn’t very well known is the figure called Adult Llahd. Llahd was a child in the line but originally his figure was mistakenly made by using the wrong mold. This early run of the figure was made using the Yungstar body but with the Llahd colors. It made for a unique figure and could be called the Dino Riders version of the Blue Snaggletooth as it’s the wrong body and height. These are two variants that are not completely necessary to add to your collection but they add variety and a little something extra to talk about.

Another great piece. đŸ˜€ I had the regular Llahd with pterodactyl and the grey version from the two-pack.

I like all the gray colored Valorians from those two packs. I think they look better than the normal versions.
