Star Wars Vintage Collection Odd Ball (Clone Pilot) Review
Welcome to the first “Force Friday”! I just bought a case of SWVC figures so for the next 12 weeks I will be looking at a different figure every Friday. Why did I buy a case of Star Wars figures? Well the terrible distribution/people snatching up the good figures as soon as they hit the aisles of the stores if not before means that finding the SW figure you really want can be quite the pain. Couple this fact with the sky high prices of some figures on the secondary market and suddenly it makes sense to just buy a case of figures off of BBTS for $120 instead of paying $35 (Shae Vizla I’m looking at you) for a single figure. Anyway Star Wars is awesome, Star Wars figures are awesome, and now I have plenty of stuff to review ha ha! Let’s take a look at Oddball. Continue reading
Star Wars Vintage Collection Kmart Exclusive Ewok Scouts Review
Today along with the throwback Logray review I am also looking at even more Ewoks! The Kmart exclusive Ewok 2 pack proved to be impossible to find for me in stores, so instead of driving the half hour to Salem NH where they maybe had them I headed to EBay. I managed to find a set for $18 shipping included which really isn’t too much off the $15 price tag in stores, that coupled with all the gas and Long John Silvers I would have had to buy if I went up there equals a pretty good deal for me. Let’s take a look at the Ewok Scouts two pack. Continue reading
Star Wars Vintage Collection Logray (Ewok Medicine Man) Review
Today I have a double dose of Ewoks for you; I’ll be looking at the Kmart exclusive Ewok Scouts two pack and Logray here. Logray is the perfect example of how to do a Ewok right if you ask me, he has a good amount of accessories and awesome articulation; let’s take a look at Logray the Ewok medicine man. Continue reading
Star Wars Vintage Collection Kmart Exclusive Scout Walker AT-ST Review
Here we are at the middle of Endor Week, and today I am looking at the Kmart exclusive AT-ST. This vehicle is pretty awesome with only a few small flaws. Being a retailer exclusive can sometime make things hard to find, but the large size of this and the $35 price tag (though I did spot it on sale for $29 the other day) means that almost every Kmart I went into had at least one of these guys kicking around. Let’s take a look at the AT-ST. Continue reading
Star Wars Vintage Collection Rebel Trooper (Endor) Review
Day two of Endor week is filled with some of the forces of good, beyond the awesome Guest review by Zed of Wicket I am looking at one of my favorite rebel trooper figures. This guy is pretty awesome beyond the fact that his face keeps him from being a great army builder, but that is a problem with the Rebels they always show their faces. Let’s take a look at the Endor Rebel Trooper. Continue reading
Star Wars Vintage Collection Wicket (Guest) Review.
*Today we have a very special Guest Review from Robert Hatch of http://www.zedsjoesite.com. A great site that I enjoy often. Thanks to Zed for helping me out with Endor Week! If you have never seen the Scale Wars photo comic do yourself a favor and check it out-Doc
Few people realize that Ewoks have magical powers that bless their spears and such with the ability to pierce even the strongest of armors. It’s an off-shot of the Force that allows midichlorians to surround the stone and wood weapons and separate the molecules of any substance. The greatest practitioner of this power is Wicket because George Lucas loves Warwick Davis (but in a brotherly way). Continue reading
Star Wars Boba Fett Prototype Armor Review

Hasbro likes to do a mail away figure offer each year for their Star Wars Vintage Collection, last year it was the Rocket Firing Boba that closely mirrored the vintage figure, but with the firing rocket the original test figure had. This year we get a super awesome prototype armor Boba, and he is pretty darn cool. Lets take a look at Boba Fett. Continue reading
Star Wars Vintage Collection R2D2 (Return of the Jedi) Review.

Today’s review is another Star Wars Vintage Collection figure. This is the R2D2 from Return of the Jedi when he was in the service of Jabba the Hutt. When I was little I was tickled by R2 serving drinks on Jabba’s sail barge so naturally this figure was a no brainer for me to pick up at the Special Thoughts $3.99 price tag. Lets take a look at ROTJ R2D2. Continue reading
