Hey y’all! We made it through another one! This year was a bit of a doozy, but the past few years have been the same so I’m not sure what the hell I expected. Anyway, here we sit, bloodied, bruised, and half dead, but we are here. Let’s take a quick run-through of this past twelve months, and then I’ll talk about a few of my plans for 2025.
The far-off year of two thousand twenty-four was upon us this year, and well… it was a year that’s for sure…let’s just focus on the good stuff.
2024 saw some excellent stuff from Rampageo Press! We dropped the long-awaited TEWOJ Comics Issue #3 in both standard full-color comic size and special Black & White Magazine-sized editions. Tim Wilsie and Terry Thielen KILLED it on both versions of this book, and you can currently get both in the DK Store, the Rampgeo Press Digital Bookstore, and on Amazon (as well as the rest of the RP Books!) I also dropped a new Art Book, some cool Stickers, Pin Sets, and a single Pin! You can find all these items RIGHT NOW in the DK Store In between all this, I also launched a new Store on Etsy which has been a boon for adding new listings and running sales! Here on the Website front I re-added and cleaned up the TEWOJ Lore section which now houses ALL released TEWOJ story content. I also reworked the visuals on the site earlier this year. So Overall a GREAT YEAR for Reampageo Press!
This year Rampageo Press has a couple of projects in the works. I’m hoping to have the Collected edition of TEWOJ Comics issues 1-3 for Zolocon, but I’m still waiting on a couple of elements so I’m not sure if it’s going to make it to the printer and back before. We’ll see on that one, but it does feature a new 3-page story featuring Princess Ikari by Tim Wilsie.
There is also the long-gestating TEWOJ Lore Vol 1 rework ever looming in the background, but it’s doubtful that makes an appearance this year (I’m trying to set realistic boundaries for myself LOL) however we should be seeing a new book this year, it won’t be TEWOJ. We’re going to SPACE baby!
Experience cosmic terrors with a collection of short horror stories set in the Void Patrol universe. This is still in the early stages of development . I’ve got a bunch of story ideas, and a couple of them have been cooking for a while. I’m excited to flesh out the VP world a little bit, and to dip my toes into the horror pool.
Now on the Rampageo Industries front things have slowed down a little bit, but I did launch the new tabletop turn-based battle game The Great Slime Wars with several sets launching at the tail end of the year. So far 12 Different Characters have joined the fight, and you can scoop all of them right now in the store! Joining the fray nest will be the crossover I did with Mike Die releasing at Zolocon 2025. It will be a two-pack of Rock Protectors drawn by me. I did Lord Basa in my style and created an all-new Rock protector in Count Garlamar. Read about the Rock Protectors HERE.
Also debuting at Zolocon 20205 will be the first Expansion for the Game. Forts & Fortifications introduces two new elements to the battlefield. Forts can be captured to protect and heal your troops, but can also be invaded by your enemies. Fortifications can be controlled and used on the battlefield to devastating effect. The full reveal of this expansion will happen at the show, and online here the day of as well. I’ll have sets for sale there, and they will be online shortly after. What I can reveal is the subtitle of the first Forts & Fortifications expansion.
After the show and expansion, I’ve got some more things brewing for TGSW, but that will all come after we get through the show. Fans of the game never fear this year will see some growth that is going to be really impressive I think!
