Lore: Slimes In Space Part 1
The sun was shining above Hawkstorm Keep as Algor and Ziggy lounged on the grass just outside the gates. Algor munched on a ripe bunch of Glowberries, as Ziggy sloppily lapped up a bucket filled with table scraps from the kitchens. It had been a much needed lazy afternoon for the young Prince.
Lore: The Shadow of War
Prince Algor sat in silence. His room lit only by candles that cast a warm glow reflecting off the Prince’s slick skin. Astral communication was a new technique the Slime Elder Magi had taught him to keep in contact with them, and as Algor’s body sat safely in the tower of the Royal Castle of Slime City his astral form was conferring with the Magi and the Voice of the Gods. The drums of war had been beating louder and louder as Baron Dracktholm and Master Boshak grew their army larger by the day. The roads of Jalldoon were littered with raiding bandits, and fear was at an all-time high. The Voice had explained all this to Algor, but now the need for heroes was rising so action must be taken. Lore: Toron’s Journey
Toron wiped the sweat from his brow as he hopped back from the bolt he had been tightening on the large metal arm in front of him. Taking a long swig from his goblet he looked over his latest creation…a large suit of armor. The slime made his way behind a blast shield with a small remote as he thought to himself “here goes nothing” before pushing the small button on the little black box he held. As he pushed the button a series of clicks could be heard followed by a small hollow clank on the floor, and after waiting a few seconds to make sure it wasn’t going to explode he stuck his head out from behind the shield and saw that the suit of armor had compacted itself into a small box.
Lore: The Lost Reliquary of Karnok Part 2:
Continued from Part 1…
Once they reached the entrance to the sewers Algor and Merrick had to use their blades to pry the rusted gate to the sewers open… So much for Karnok sanitation doing their jobs right? They lit their torches and descended into the rank sewers. Sludge covered every surface, and the light of their torches made it glisten and appear to move constantly. The stink of the Sewage of thousands of people was almost too much to bear, but the prize at the end promised to be well worth dealing with the smells. Lore: The Lost Reliquary of Karnok Part 1:
The moonlight glowed over the vast cemetery known as the Field of Tears as the soft hooting croak of a Frowl could be heard in the distance. Toron sat behind a Tombstone and looked over at Algor who was crouched in his heroic full body form next to a large stone cross. They had been in the cemetery for hours trying to lure an especially angry Banshee Spirit that had been terrorizing the nearby crossroads for weeks, and beyond the sounds of life all around them, Toron could hear none of the wails these creatures were known for. Suddenly the moon was obscured by clouds and a scream that would render a normal being to a quivering pile of fear echoed across the dark cemetery, and in the dark of the night, Toron could see the spectral form of the spirit floating towards their decoy slowly. Lore: A Day in The Life: The Shocktrooper’s Story
The dream is always the same. I’m in a village with a family, and I’m happy… so very happy. Until the Shocktroopers show up and pull me screaming from my home. I see my wife bleeding on the floor of our hut as they start for my son. I struggle, so one of them hits me with his shock baton…everything goes to black.

Lore: The Monastery at the center of the World
The Snow whipped around Prince Algor’s head as he pulled his fur vest closer to his (near frozen) body while ahead Toron was peering off in the distance through his spyglass. The old slime turned around “Well Al, it looks like we’re on the right track to the northern pass if we can chart this mountain trail …in a blizzard…with a squadron of Shocktroopers on our tai…” Algor cut Toron off mid sentence “ So basically easy breezy right buddy?” the Prince said with a smile as he blew into his cupped hands.

Location: Castle Karlan
Tales tell of a Castle perched on the edge of the cliffs overlooking the entrance to Hoga. People say this decrepit pile of rocks is home to a powerful Vampire.
Even though Jalldoon is for the most part a fairly tolerant place Vampires, Ghouls, Zombies, and any other creature straddling the line between living and dead are to be killed on sight. Anyone associated with these disgusting monsters is to be shunned by society as a whole, or worse executed so travelers to this remote and crumbling ruin are sparse to the say the least.
Who’s Who: High Imperator Ondska
Unlike the other regions of the Planet (which are ruled by a hodgepodge of various royalty) the entire Northern Region of Jalldoon is under the control of one man. High Imperator Ondska wields great influence in The Covenant of Crowns due to his position as ruler of such a large swath of the Planet, and this power is what keeps his nephew Baron Dracktholme from facing justice for his “alleged” crimes against the people of the Southwestern Region of Jalldoon.
Who’s Who: King Valdar
Squishy is the Slime that wears the crown. The Grand King of all Slimes is the latest in the royal line of kings going all the way back to the first slime to spawn from the elemental dust that is the mother of all Slimes. For years, ruling Slimedom was a fairly easy job for Slime Kings, but after the “birth” of Master Boshak, and the disappearance of his wife early in the current king’s reign the job became fraught with peril. Fortunately for good Slimes everywhere, King Valdar is fully capable of dealing with threats both inside and from outside the world of Slimes, and has done a wonderful job keeping his subjects safe from the despots currently terrorizing the land. Lore: Evil Finds A Way: Part 5
Continued from Part 4
The three days of Covenant meeting passed by rather quickly with the majority voting to extend The control of the Ondska Empire into Balmonway, but the minority had voted vehemently against the extension of power granted to the Imperator. The Warrior Queen of Balmonway herself made an impassioned speech against turning control of her lands to Ondska that had brought the opponents of the motion to a loud rumble of agreement. Votes as always were final however, and after the delegates had settled down the meeting of the Covenant was over. Continue reading “Lore: Evil Finds A Way: Part 5”
