Most Slimes in Master Boshak’s army are there because he used his evil powers to “convert” them, but not Skale…He was just plain evil from birth. Boshak first met Skale when he was hanging in a gibbet on the side of the road; Boshak asked what his crimes were to which Skale replied “everything and anything”. Boshak freed Skale from his prison, and in a short time Skale’s ruthless nature brought him to lead Boshak’s forces in the field. His brutal fighting style and his ability to instill fear has lead to him taking command of not only the evil Slimes, but also Baron Draktholme’s forces into battle. Skale is the basis of many people’s nightmares, and with good reason.

Who’s Who: The Slime Elder Magi

10

According to most ancient of Slime legends millennia ago when the Great Slime Father and Great Slime Mother first formed from the dust of the planet they had three children. As the planet started to be occupied by others (due to the opening of the rips in space and time) the Great Slime Mother realized they’d need to keep track of all the magic coursing through their planet for the safety of all, so she tasked her first born boys with cataloging these spells and items.

Created by Baron Dracktholme as a small ground vehicle for his forces, the Doom Buggy is a one-person all-terrain rover. Being controlled by foot pedals and the shifting of the driver’s weight leaves the operator’s hands free to wield weapons. Using a unique thermal engine the exhaust system pumps out the excess steam from the rear pipes which produce a trail behind the Buggy as it drives along the Planet’s surface. Who’s Who: Dragostia the Divine

Dragostia the Divine, goddess of love they say resides in Morgunborg Wood deep deep inside the roots of a large tree adorned with hearts carved in time immemorial by the earliest ancestors of today’s Jalldoonians. Legend has it those who seek true love should make the pilgrimage to this sacred tree, and once there leave an offering at its base. This offering is said to be the hearts of a mated pair of Shenguins, a vial of tears shed over the light of a Glowberry Candle, and a rod of unbending metal. Symbolizing lifelong commitment to their love, devastation at not being with their love, and an unbreaking devotion to their love. If Dragostia deems their love true and worthy she will bless the lover with their deepest desires.

Location: The City of Ghosts

The City of Ghosts was once the thriving city of Balcust, but an evil Wizard cast a spell that killed every living being in the city at once. Trauma like that can only breed ghosts, and this is how Balcust got its new name. Hundreds of years later the city sits in semi ruin, and while most buildings still stand full of things of value it takes a truly brave adventurer to delve into the City of Ghosts.

Organizations: Religions of Jalldoon

Religion on Jalldoon is a mixed bag.The main religion is the worship of the Gods of Jalldoon with temples devoted to each scattered about the Planet, but Jalldoon is also home to any number of religions brought to the planet from various beings transported there through the space-time rips.

Over millennia the religions brought to the Planet have been warped to the point that practitioners of them would scarcely recognize their faith, but they have influenced the directions and minds of Jalldoon in their own ways.

Events: Humanity Appears on Jalldoon

The first Humans appeared on Jalldoon a few centuries after the first Slimes squished their way out of the Rip Dust. An entire community from Chichester England had been sucked into a Space-Time Rift and was brought to Jalldoon.

After several millennia the Human Race has spread over almost the entire planet, and become one of the more prominent races on Jalldoon. Much like humanity here on earth Jalldoonian humans are mixed bag of good seeds and bad apples.

Organizations: The Covenant of Crowns

Many generations ago a cabal of one hundred Generals plotted to conquer the entire Planet Jalldoon in what is known as the Great War. Each of these generals brought an army of one thousand soldiers, and with the largest force ever assembled began eliminating Kings, Queens, Emperors, Sultans, and any other rulers spread out across the Planet. As news traveled of this the various royalty of Jalldoon banded together in what would become known as the Covenant of Crowns. Even one hundred Generals with one thousand soldiers each is no match for the combined armies of Jalldoon, and after the war was over these leaders gathered and decided for the sake of the entire Planet laws must be put in place to prevent forces gathering in a bid to control all of Jalldoon.  Continue reading “Organizations: The Covenant of Crowns”
